Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use thrive.md or any site in the .md health network.

Last updated: August 2026

Acceptance

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to thrive.md and to every site in the .md health network that links here.

The site is information, not medical care

Everything published here is general health information for education. It is not medical advice, it does not create a clinician-patient relationship, and it cannot account for your history, medications, or circumstances. Our full medical disclaimer sets this out in detail and forms part of these terms.

The AI Q&A feature

The Q&A box generates answers using an AI language model. AI systems can produce answers that are incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong, and they can state wrong things confidently. Treat every answer as a starting point for a conversation with a clinician, never as a substitute for one. Do not rely on it in an emergency.

Do not submit personal health information, information about another identifiable person, or anything confidential.

Acceptable use

Content and copyright

Articles, layout, and design on this network are owned by their authors and publisher and are protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link. You may not republish whole articles or substantial portions without written permission. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks belong to their owners and appear here for identification only.

External links

We link to government agencies, medical societies, journals, and patient organizations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that content is complete, current, or error-free, or that the site will be uninterrupted. Medical knowledge changes, and pages may not reflect the most recent guidance at the moment you read them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything published here, including anything produced by the Q&A feature. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date below shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
